rWall logo
Performs analysis and design of reinforced concrete cantilevered and restrained retaining wall systems. The retaining wall system consists of a wall stem of constant or variable thickness, a base (toe and heel) and an optional key. Backfill (level or sloping) and optional frontfill soil with same or different properties and water elevation may be specified. Full and partial surcharge loads and top-of-wall loads may be applied.

In the Check mode, for a known system dimensions and applied loading, the program computes the pressure profiles, and checks for stability, designs for flexure, and checks for one-way shear.
In the Design mode, the program selects the size of the base (heel and toe) and wall thickness so that the system can safely and adequately carry the applied loads.
